SOLD : Fler Sideboard
Had this lovely simple sideboard by Fler come in this week. With solid rimu used in the drawers and cabinet I'm betting she is a NZ build. She's got beautiful proportions and a mile of storage. She hasn't come through the last 40 years unscathed but all in all, still a sweet piece.
It had a the usual scratching, bumps round the feet and chips to the side veneers (filled to prevent further damage). I decided not to rework the top as a previous owner got there before me. Thrilled that she still had her key as so often these are missing. The frame and legs were good and luckily no one had drilled the now common back holes to allow for the passage of the x-box & other electrical connections!
