In the workshop

I just finished the Rudi Schwarz dining suite which jumped ahead in the line.  That rosewood table was just too much to resist.  Everyone that has popped in to see me has immediately headed straight for it and run their hands along the grain making all the right ohh and ahh noises.

Next in line is the Peter Hvidt style Lounge suite which is in the final stages of having the frames prepared.  I'm up in the air over what the covers are going to be but they need something soft and welcoming.

The Don suite has been taken apart and it waiting patiently for me to start sanding. I just picked up a pair of Parker Knoll style fireside ladies chairs which have the most lovely covers which I am hoping to save.  I'm also in two minds about the frames as overall they are in great condition.  A couple of joints need attention and there is a little thinning of the coating on the arms but all in all they are in nice vintage condition. Choices, choices.

I just put 'Ringatoi retro' up on facebook so for the day to day or to see what's coming up you can follow things over there.
