Don Furniture Narvic Suite

SOLD  : Don furniture couch/daybed & 2 lowback loungers.

After debating was over I chose a lovely dark grey fabric by Textilia, Range : Seddon, Colour : Cave.  A lovely deep grey this allows it to sit well against most other tones.  The frames were finally finished and back together.



Toady it all came together as I finished the final touches with new spring guard covers for the two chairs and another coat of oil. The set looks fab and is ready for another 40 years.

Finally after a couple of false start (doing bit's & pieces to other bit's & pieces) I finally managed to get started on these yesterday.  Both chairs were dismantled to fix loose joints, a couple of broken dowels and to repair two chips to the arm joint.  Already debating colour choices for the fabric as I work on getting these back to their former glory.

I just received a fantastic pair of low back chairs that are going to be joined by a four seat couch/daybed to make up a three piece set.  All of the pieces need work but the wood appears to be in great condition.  There are loose joints to be reset and a lot of sanding to do, fabric to choose and some new foam to be purchased. Hopefully in the end this is going to be another fantastic piece. Let the fun begin.
