I love restoring furniture. Particularly pieces from the 50's to 70's. I enjoy knowing that I have helped pieces back from the oblivion of the darkened garage corner and revived them to something that will once again take center stage in someones home. Knowing someone loves them & that someone will get pleasure and joy from having them in their lives is why I do what I do. So many of the pieces in my own collection have a presence that bring me happiness daily.
I know how hard it can be to buy online with only photos and descriptions to go on. I want people to be more than happy with what they buy
from me. For this reason I mention every & any condition details
that will help give a clear idea of the pieces for sale. This can make for an encyclopedic read but as TM don't allow me to invite people to view pieces prior to bidding it is the best way I know to give a full (if sometimes harsh) idea of the pieces for sale.
REFUND
POLICY: If for any
reason, colour, condition, etc a piece does not meet exceptions on inspection then 'No like, no buy'. If
payment has been by bank deposit it will be returned to your account,
obviously cash sales simply don't require completion.
TRANSPORT: I am happy to pass on
transport estimates from the companies I use for my own trades:
Efficient (N.Island) ,Conroys (S.Island), & Man With A Van (Local delivery) but all transport will have to be arranged by the buyer and is at the buyers risk.
Anyone buying from out of town is welcome to have a representative, friend or family member inspect on their behalf prior to transporting.

FULLY RESTORED: This will mean any defects have been attended to loose joints set, missing springs replaced etc. The
piece will have had all coatings removed/cleaned, new fabric and
new foam applied (unless stated otherwise). I do not restore to 'Look Like New' but to re-condition them while maintaining the best of their vintage character.
VINTAGE CONDITION: These pieces will probably have general ware, they may have
had repair to sections of coatings, loose joints etc, any items of note will be mentioned
in the auction listing.

FOR RESTORE:
These items are sold "as is where is" and will probably require restoration. I list repairs recommended and supply a general skill level required (based on my experience). These sales generally happen
when I am out of space or time for other incoming projects.
$1 RESERVES: My $1 reserves do not refer to a listings quality but usually reflect a lack of
space.
